# How to use tokens

## Token types [#token-types]

| Type           | Description                                                     |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Personal token | Bound to your account, uses your quota                          |
| Channel token  | Assigned by an administrator, with independent quota management |

## View usage [#view-usage]

Go to **console → Usage statistics** to view:

* Call counts by day / month
* Token consumption
* Cost breakdown
* Share of usage by model

## Quota limits [#quota-limits]

When you create a token, you can set the following limits:

* **Total quota**: the maximum quota this token can consume (leave empty for no limit)
* **Requests per minute**: rate-limit protection
* **Model whitelist**: restrict this token to calling only the specified models

## Reset and revoke [#reset-and-revoke]

* **Reset quota**: you can manually reset used quota on the token management page
* **Revoke token**: deleting a token takes effect immediately; requests already sent are unaffected
